Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How is this different from a normal image rotator?
A rotator typically works in 90° increments to fix photos taken sideways. A straightener allows for small, precise adjustments to fix photos that are only slightly crooked. Our grid feature is specifically designed for this purpose.
Will I lose image quality when straightening a photo?
Any rotation other than 90° or 180° requires the image to be re-sampled, which can cause a very minor loss of sharpness. However, our tool uses high-quality algorithms to minimize this effect, and the result is usually imperceptible.
Are my photos uploaded to your server?
No. Your privacy is guaranteed. All processing, from upload to download, happens exclusively within your own web browser. Your images never leave your computer.
